Neighbourhood Profiles
Neighbourhood Profiles
The ‘Neighbourhood Profiles’ for North Yorkshire have been developed to illustrate
what life is like for North Yorkshire’s citizens and communities.
The Profiles use national data related on the key themes of the Local Area Agreement
(LAA) for North Yorkshire.

Adult Health and Wellbeing
Environmental Sustainability
Across the County, each District / Borough is made up of a number of Neighbourhoods.
Reports are being produced for the District as a whole and each Neighbourhood
within the District. Each Profile report comprises narrative text, charts and
thematic maps which together provide a comprehensive comparative analysis of how
each individual neighbourhood is ‘performing’ in comparison with the District
/ Borough; the County; Yorkshire and the Humber; and, England as a whole.
The Profiles are being hosted on the North Yorkshire County Council website on
