The NYSP Partnership establishes and maintains the policy framework for the work of the Partnership, as set out in the Sustainable Community Strategy for North Yorkshire 2008/18 (SCS).  The Partnership will also set the priorities of the Local Area Agreement 2008/11 (LAA).  Membership of the Partnership includes all those partners under a duty to cooperate in the formulation of a sustainable community strategy and in the delivery of a LAA, together with others identified as important locally, for example each Local Strategic Partnership and representatives of elected councillors.
