The Older People’s Partnership Board was set up in October 2008 as a result of
a decision taken by Adult/Healthier Communities Strategic Partnership in June
of the same year.
The key aim of the Board is to ensure the voice of older people (50+), including
seldom heard groups, directly influence the priorities, commissioning and service
developments of the A/HCSP, its constituent partners and the NYSP and that cross
cutting linkages are made recognising the diversity of the needs and contribution
of older people.
The priority areas of work for the Board in 2010/11 include:
- Dementia
- Community Transport
- Lifelong Learning
- Winter issues
- Fuel Poverty
- Information. Advice and Guidance
If you wish to contact the Board the Support Officer is Richard Jackson.
