Members of the Board are drawn from the seven district council areas of North Yorkshire with each district having three representatives one of whom is usually from the LSP. Each district decides the process for selection or election of members who are usually drawn from existing local older people’s forums. Also present on the Board are representatives from NYCC Adult and Community Services and North Yorks and York Primary Care Trust.

 

The Board normally meets four times a year usually in Feb, May, September and November.
