The strategic partnership will be chaired by the County Council’s Corporate Director
– Adult and Community Services and will include membership of key local stakeholders
as follows:
- District Councils within North Yorkshire, to include Housing and Leisure representation
- North Yorkshire Police
- North Yorkshire Housing Associations
- North Yorkshire Primary Care Trusts
- Voluntary Organisations (2 representatives on behalf of voluntary organisations)
- Independent Care Group
- North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service
- North Yorkshire County Council to include Adult Social Care, Adult Continuing Education, Planning, Transport, Library and Cultural Services representation
- Employment/Job Centre Plus
Each member must be at a level of seniority to have delegated decision-making
responsibilities for the organisation they represent.
Members of the group are to nominate substitutes where they are not able to attend
future meetings of the group in order to prevent non-attendance. Any substitutes
must be at a sufficiently senior level to hold delegated decision-making responsibilities
for the organisation they represent.
The group’s membership will be formally reviewed every 12 months.
