The North Yorkshire Children's Trust (formerly the North Yorkshire Children and
Young People’s Strategic Partnership) has been set up under the requirements of
the Children Act 2004 and represents all the agencies working with Children and
Young People across the county. The Children’s Trust unites all partners providing
services for children and young people at both a strategic and local level
The Partners are working together to improve the five national Every Child Matters
outcomes for children, in addition to two local outcomes. Please click on the

The priorities North Yorkshire to secure these outcomes are set out in the Children
and Young People’s Plan (CYPP), a three year strategic plan for all agencies providing
relevant services.
