Community Safety Agreement 2010/11 
 
The Community Safety Agreement for 2010/11 has been reviewed and updated and was formally agreed by the Forum on 3rd June 2010.
 
Opening message from Nigel Hutchinson, Chair York and North Yorkshire Safer Community Forum:
 
"I am pleased to be able to present the 2010/11 Community Safety Agreement for North Yorkshire on behalf of the York and North Yorkshire Safer Communities Forum.
 
"The county of North Yorkshire remains one of the safest places to live in the country with recorded crime being reduced year on year for the last 5 years. It is our aim to maintain this, through continued partnership working, by tackling the issues which matter to our local communities. We not only want you to be safe but also be reassured that your area is safe."

"As Chair of the York & North Yorkshire Safer Communities Forum, I am pleased to report that North Yorkshire remains one of the safety places to live within the Country.
 
The Community Safety Agreement outlines what the priorities are for the partnership over the coming year (2009/10) from a Community Safety aspect. Working together we aim to reduce the fear of crime and make are communities the safest to live and work within."
